She left the television series 7th Heaven after performing in the sixth season. Her acclaimed performance as the teenage Casey Jackson in the film Ulee's Gold brought her instant fame. Her role in this film won her the award of the Best Supporting Actress for Youth. The comedy film Summer Catch bears the proof of her amazing acting skills. Despite her impressive performance in the Rules of Attraction her film did not receive much success. The public was then drawn to her role as a character in The Texas Chainshaw Massacre. She's a well-known actor who has appeared in numerous suspense film.
