Nancy Kovack played Medea the epic fantasy/action movie Jason and the Argonauts. The role she played was remembered by males in my age group. The screen time of this film is much shorter than our memory, however there's no doubt that the dance number that she performed was one of the most memorable scenes. And to top it off, some say that Honor Blackman was hired as an actor for the role of Bondgirl perhaps due to the fact that they wanted her voice to be subbed in an authentic British accent. Nancy Kovack is a star of films set in the past where the actors are all Shakespearian. She had many friends, including Tarzan, Batman and the Three Stooges. Also, Dean Martin, Captain Kirk as well as Elvis Presley. What was it that was what made Nancy Kovack so special? Her characters' solid determination? Was it just her gorgeous body that made her so well-known? Nancy claimed that, for whatever reason she did not want to become a film star she preferred to be a part of a supporting actor. Her 15-year film career is filled with many gems and surprises.
