Dina Meyer was born within Forest Hills Queens New York. Just before finishing the junior high school, she moved to Queens and moved to Dix Hills Long Island. There are two of her younger siblings as well as an elder brother. Her first exposure to the industry of entertainment was as she was modeling from ages nine to 16. The beginning of her acting career was at The Neighborhood Playhouse, New York. She was a student of Sanford Meisner's techniques with Ron Stetson for three years. Sandra Bullock has received the similar training received by Jeff Goldblum and Leslie Nielsen. The first role she acted in was with Beverly Hills 90210. This led to her relocating into Los Angeles. She was cast as the main character in Johnny Mnemonic in which she did almost every stunt her self, establishing her skills as an actress. The talent agent she worked with was also representing Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent she was able to secure a role in the show Friends.
